Community & Wellbeing Strategist

I help people, teams, and communities untangle the mess, rebuild trust, and create practical solutions when things feel stuck or chaotic.
I bring clarity, connection, and a way forward that actually works.

For individuals, this can mean gaining clarity on patterns, pressures and decisions that keep you stuck, and identifying what needs to change.

For groups, it's working through conflict, improving communication, resetting culture, and redesigning programmes or processes so people can function well together.

My work is grounded in real-world experience, honest conversations and a focus on outcomes that improve wellbeing, cohesion and capability.

With over 20 years across youth work, community services, education, NGOs, and local initiatives, I specialise in stepping into messy, stuck, or fragile situations and helping people make sense of them.
I help you get past the noise, understand the real issue, and design practical solutions that fit your people and your reality.
Are you...
-
facing the same issues that are on repeat, despite trying to fix them?
-
dealing with conflict, tension, or misalignment in your team?
-
running a programme or service that works on paper but feels clunky or draining in practice?
-
overwhelmed by expectations, funding pressures, or limited resources?
-
seeing disengagement, low morale, or disconnect creeping into your space?
-
sensing “something’s off” in your group, organisation, or project but can’t quite name it?

Ready to stop spinning your wheels and actually shift what isn’t working?
Whether it’s your life, your team, a community project, or a youth programme that needs recalibrating, let’s talk through what’s happening, where the pressure points are, and what needs to change.
No pressure, no hard sell — just clarity and direction.
Wellbeing Compass Services
I step into messy, stuck, or fragile spaces to help people find clarity, resolve issues, and design practical ways forward — whether that’s at an individual level, within a team, or across a wider community or organisation.
About
Wellbeing Compass
Wellbeing Compass began as a wellbeing coaching space – and has evolved into something more hands-on and systemic. Today, I work as a community problem-solver and wellbeing strategist, stepping into complex, messy or fragile spaces to help people make sense of what’s really going on. My work sits at the intersection of youth development, community services, practical wellbeing, organisational culture, and real-life pressures.

Over the past few years, I’ve been consistently approached by individuals, teams and organisations facing similar challenges — conflict, burnout, misalignment, programme struggles, low engagement and systems that look tidy on paper but don’t work in practice. This work grew because the need kept showing up, and the patterns were too clear to ignore. The pivot wasn’t theoretical — it evolved from real people, real communities, and real organisational pressures asking for clarity, direction, and practical support.

My Background
I bring over two decades of experience across youth work, mentoring, programme design, facilitation, community development, and funding environments, with work spanning NGOs, education, local initiatives, and service delivery organisations.
My work spans more than 20 years across youth development, community services, programme design, organisational culture, and local initiatives. I’ve worked alongside individuals, teams, and community organisations to identify what isn’t working, strengthen systems and create practical pathways forward.
My experience includes:
-
Leading youth development programmes
-
Mentoring emerging leaders
-
Designing and delivering initiatives, events, and community-led projects
-
Policy, programme, and service design for government and non-profits
-
Training and facilitation
-
Capability building for staff and volunteers
-
Supporting young people to transition into independence, education, or employment.
I work confidently across groups of all ages, particularly when the environment is complex, conflict-prone, resource-strained, pressured by expectations, or struggling with engagement or alignment.
My approach is grounded in values of respect, integrity, cooperation, and realism. I focus on strengthening connection, clarity, and resilience in a way that fits the actual needs and context of the people and communities involved.
