You might be curious about the presence of bees in my logo and their role in my coaching and consultancy. They serve as a source of inspiration for me, so I’d like to share a bit more about their significance.
Bees. These tiny, winged wonders might seem unassuming, but they are the cornerstone of our planet’s wellbeing—and maybe even ours! Without bees, a third of the food we eat wouldn’t exist. From apples to almonds, coffee to chocolate (yes, chocolate!), their pollination efforts fuel both our bodies and souls. But there’s more to bees than just hard work. They embody balance and harmony, thriving in communities where every bee plays a part. A worker bee may only live a few weeks, yet its efforts ripple through the hive and beyond. It’s a reminder that even the smallest contributions matter—an ethos that ties beautifully into wellbeing. Small, intentional actions like a smile or a mindful breath can make a big difference in the long run, just as a single bee can pollinate 5,000 flowers a day.
Bees are also incredible multitaskers, working tirelessly but knowing when to rest. (Yes, bees sleep!) That’s a lesson we could all take to heart.
Work hard for what you love
Connect with others
but don’t forget to recharge.
And here’s the stinger (pun intended): bees are in trouble. Habitat loss, pesticides, and climate change threaten their existence. Supporting bees by planting native flowers or reducing chemical use doesn’t just help them—it helps us thrive too.
So, let’s honour the bees by embracing their ethos: working in harmony, giving generously, and remembering that even the smallest actions can transform the world. 🐝 Let’s all “bee” the change we wish to see!
