Welcome to my first ever blog and a space where we have things to contemplate, ruminate and ponder for our lives. Unfortunately for me, wellbeing wasn’t really a thing as I was growing up but know that I’ve gained those ‘medals of life’ from various heartbreaking and traumatic experiences, I have a much better understanding what of welling being means and how to do it well.

Wellbeing is crucial for every living being as it encompasses the physical, mental, and emotional health that allows individuals to thrive and lead fulfilling lives. At its core, wellbeing is about more than just the absence of illness; it's about actively maintaining a state of balance and harmony in one's life, cherishing your, mind, heart, body and soul. This can mean having a sense of purpose, maintaining healthy relationships, and achieving personal goals, which collectively contribute to overall happiness and satisfaction.

When wellbeing is prioritised, it leads to greater resilience, allowing individuals to cope better with life's challenges and changes. Moreover, a focus on wellbeing can enhance productivity, creativity, and longevity, creating a positive ripple effect that benefits not only the individual but also the wider community and environment.

For the Wellbeing Compass, we explore six key themes that we know can make a huge difference to how you feel about yourself and the impact on your life.
